By now, everyone knows that, according to Time, we are the people of the year (although based on the pronoun use and syntax I am inclined to believe maybe they are just talking about me).
However, check out this teaser for the article:
Look at where they chose to cut of the text. If you look really quickly it appears to say, "the history of the world is but the blog."
Coincidence????????? I think not!
I want to know why the first two words of the story are "Great Man"- doesn't "you" encompass women as well!??

Apparently Scottish philosopher Thomas Carlyle was a little sexist, although I would cut him a little slack as the women's liberation movement hadn't really caught on big in the nineteenth century.
